Glasgow is a rapidly changing city and has gained a great image over the last few years with it being a very culturally diverse city and it also celebrates its mix of modern and historical architecture. In 1999 it was even designated as the UK City of Architecture and Design, winning ahead of both Liverpool and Edinburgh.
The Radisson Blu Hotel in the heart of Glasgow city centre is a great example of the modern style that can be seen around the city. The hotel itself has won many architectural awards including the Glasgow Hotel of the Year award.
